In this report we look at whether the way we design digital experiences is unwinding the gains we have made in creating more inclusive, diverse and equitable outcomes and a built environment where everyone belongs.

Through insights from Australia’s Centre for Inclusive Design and others we investigate how designing for inclusion benefits everyone and could help meet people’s individual needs and preferences.

The report provides practical ideas from our SDP Roundtable for how we could intentionally design for greater inclusion, including:

  • Seeking diverse feedback early and often

  • Celebrating purpose over projects

  • Measuring for better not just broken

  • Personalising rather than complicating

  • Providing analogue alternatives
